Langsa – Sebanyak 84 mahasiswa Fakultas Syariah IAIN Langsa mengikuti prosesi Yudisium di Aula Terbuka Kampus setempat, Selasa (15/12). Yudisium Angkatan ke-2 ini dilakukan bagi 30 mahasiswa Jurusan Ahwal al-Syakhshiyah dan 54 mahasiswa Jurusan Syariah, sehingga secara keseluruhan Fakultas Syariah telah melahirkan 550 mahasiswa dengan waktu penyelesaian studi yang relatif singkat. Demikian disampaikan Wakil Dekan I Fakultas Syariah, Bpk. Muhammad Nasir, MA dalam laporannya.
“Kami berharap dengan lahirnya sarjana-sarjana hukum Islam ini, minimal mereka dapat menyelamatkan diri mereka dalam masalah hukum Islam, serta dapat memberikan kontribusi kepada masyarakat dalam penyelesaian berbagai permasalahan hukum Islam.” harapnya.
Sementara itu, Dekan Fakultas Syariah, Bpk. Dr. Zulfikar, MA dalam sambutannya memberikan apresiasi kepada para wali mahasiswa yang hadir dalam prosesi tersebut dan terima kasih atas kepercayaan orang tua melanjutkan studinya pada Fakultas Syariah IAIN Langsa. Beliau mengharapkan para mahasiswa yang telah berhasil menyelesaikan studinya ini, mampu berkiprah dalam masyarakat sebagai pelopor dalam bidangnya masing-masing.
Dalam acara tersebut juga diisi dengan pemberian tanda penghargaan kepada 5 lulusan dengan IPK tertinggi, pada posisi pertama ditempati oleh Sri Cahaya Lestari dengan IPK 3,79.
